Lucy and Caroline bake for support

1 April 2026 1 April 2026 | Fundraising, News

We know everyone loves a cake and hot drink, and last week, friends Lucy and Caroline raised an incredible £696 through a cake sale at their workplace.

With a delicious selection of baked treats up for grabs, the duo brought colleagues together to enjoy a sweet treat while helping support families facing a brain tumour diagnosis.

Caroline said, “We are absolutely chuffed with the amount we raised for Brain Tumour Support – we didn’t think we’d be able to raise so much money in a single afternoon. Thank you to everyone who came along and contributed so generously. As today was such as success we are planning more fundraisers soon!”

Nadia Hall, Fundraising Manager at Brain Tumour Support added, “Lucy and Caroline did a fantastic job with their cake sale. In just a single afternoon, they raised enough money to help fund a course of specialist, one-to-one counselling sessions for someone impacted by a brain tumour diagnosis.

“This bake sale is a perfect example of how community fundraising can bring people together for an important cause. A cake sale can be done in your home, local hall or workplace with minimal planning, and we provide bespoke fundraising packs including posters, flyers, cake labels and bunting. All fundraisers also get a personalised payment QR code to make it easy for people to donate.”
