Position: Trustee
Reports to: Chair of the Board of Trustees
Location: Quarterly meetings held in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire
Time commitment: Approximately 3-4 hours per month, plus quarterly half-day board meetings and participation in ad-hoc strategy sessions or events
Our Board of Trustees plays a vital role in shaping the future of Brain Tumour Support, providing strategic leadership, strong governance, and collective accountability to help ensure that no one faces a brain tumour diagnosis alone.
We are committed to building a Board that reflects a diverse range of skills, experiences, perspectives, and voices. By bringing together people with different professional backgrounds and lived experiences, we create better conversations, stronger challenges, and more meaningful outcomes for the individuals and families we support.
Our Trustees are not involved in the day-to-day running of the charity. Instead, they provide guidance, support, and constructive challenge to help ensure the organisation remains compassionate, sustainable, ambitious, and impactful.
