The Cancer Care Map is a national directory that shows support available in every part of the country. It is run by the Richard Dimbleby Cancer Fund and supported by the NHS, cancer charities and other support organisations across the UK. Macmillan Cancer Support provides practical, medical and financial support. They provide booklets on cancer and treatments, run helplines providing cancer information and benefits advice, and offer Cancer Voices service, enabling those affected by cancer to share their experiences and help shape future cancer services.
Provides non-medical people in the UK with information about health and disease.
Has information about employment and disability rights.
Offers information and support to carers. Can put people in contact with local support groups.
Provides information to help carers access financial assistance, and respite from caring and balancing going to work.

Citizen’s Advice provides free, confidential, independent advice on a variety of issues including financial, legal, housing and employment.

The scheme allows people with severe mobility problems to park close to their destination. The scheme is administered by local authorities who deal with applications and issue badges.
A national charity which works to improve the living standards of disabled people. Provides information about benefits and disability rights.
