Thornbury & District League of Friends have generously donated £1,000 to Brain Tumour Support so we can continue supporting local families impacted by a brain tumour diagnosis. Currently, we are supporting 15 individuals and their families in the Thornbury area.
icki Townsend and Clive Parkinson, Trustees at Thornbury & District League of Friends said, “Our Trust’s focus is on helping health and wellbeing related projects in the local area. Brain Tumour Support offers a vital service, stepping in to give tailored support, guidance and counselling when someone is diagnosed with a brain tumour. We enjoyed meeting the team and are delighted to help such a worthwhile cause.”
Sarah Lucas, Head of Fundraising and Operations at Brain Tumour Support added, “We are so grateful to Vicki, Clive and all the Trustees at Thornbury & District League of Friends for their very generous contribution. As a small charity this donation will make a meaningful difference and help provide 10 family counselling sessions for local families facing a brain tumour diagnosis.”
