Corporate support fuels Brain Tumour Support’s mission: A look at Wards Solicitors’ Make a Will initiative

Discover how Wards Solicitors’ Make a Will Month initiative supports Brain Tumour Support through vital fundraising and community engagement.

For the past three years, Brain Tumour Support has proudly partnered with South West-based Wards Solicitors for their annual Make A Will Month initiative. This special month not only emphasises the importance of having a properly executed Will but also plays a crucial role in fundraising for our vital services. During this initiative, qualified Wills and Probate solicitors from the Thornbury branch generously donated their time to draft or update Wills in exchange for donations to Brain Tumour Support.

Writing a Will can often seem overwhelming, and Make a Will Month provides a unique opportunity for individuals to receive expert guidance from Ward solicitors while supporting a worthy cause. Rachael Abbott, Wills and Probate Partner at Wards Solicitors shares her perspective:

“We are thrilled to contribute to the impactful work of Brain Tumour Support. Hearing first-hand from individuals supported by the charity underscores the tangible difference these funds make. We eagerly anticipate our continued partnership with Brain Tumour Support during Make a Will Month in 2025.”

Through Make A Will Month, Wards Solicitors in Thornbury have raised over £3,000 to date, providing invaluable support for our essential services. In addition, they are generously sponsoring the latest edition of our Support Matters newsletter, reinforcing their steadfast commitment to our cause.
