Penny and family skydive for support

19 May 2026 19 May 2026 | News

On Saturday, Penny and her family took to the skies to fundraise for Brain Tumour Support.

Penny, her husband Shaun, son and son’s partner took part in their first skydive to raise money for our support services. Penny, who is supported by Brain Tumour Support described the skydive as “an amazing experience,” and is already planning her next one!

The family have raised over £2,400, which could fund support for three families facing a brain tumour diagnosis for an entire year.

Nadia Hall, Fundraising Manager at Brain Tumour Support said:

“Around every half hour, someone is told they have a brain tumour. This shock diagnosis has a deep impact not just on the patient, but their families too. We step in to help patients and families understand the diagnosis, provide practical guidance and help them feel less isolated through our support groups and counselling services.

“Penny and her family are an inspiration to us all, taking on a sponsored skydive to help fund this support. Penny said she enjoyed every second and we loved seeing the pictures – well done Penny and family!”
