We are so grateful to our wonderful community of supporters and want to say particular thanks to Ysgol Maesgwyn School who raised an incredible £1,550 for Brain Tumour Support.
Students, teachers and support staff recently gathered for a fun-packed day of fundraising activities, including a special visit from charity mascot, Henry the Hippo. Following the event, Welsh rugby legend Shane Williams sent a special video message of thanks to all of the children for their fundraising efforts.
Nadia Hall, Fundraising Manager at Brain Tumour Support said: “Our work is only made possible through the generosity of individuals, organisations and community groups. Ysgol Maesgwyn School is a shining example of generosity and community spirit. The money pupils and staff raised will make a huge difference to people impacted by brain tumours, and provide immediate crisis support to 15 families facing this diagnosis. A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the event, and to all of those who so generously contributed.”
