Become a Brain Tumour Support Champion

A Brain Tumour Support Champion Fund is a very special way to do something life-affirming and meaningful following your own brain tumour experience, to show support to someone you know who is living with a brain tumour or to pay lasting tribute to someone you love, whilst also helping others.

At Brain Tumour Support we know that dealing with the everyday upset and stress of coping with a brain tumour or the loss of a loved one is a very personal matter and everyone finds their own way to deal with their experience.

Often people find it a comfort to do something positive. That’s what Brain Tumour Support Champion Funds are all about.

How do they work?

By working with us, you can bring together friends and family to fundraise under a special named fund in aid of Brain Tumour Support. It means that multiple fundraising pages and donations can be brought together to achieve a group total which will go directly to help brain tumour patients, their loved ones and carers.

What we will provide for you

Our friendly fundraising team to help you every step of the way.

  • We’ll set up your Champion Fund page personalised with photographs and details of your fundraising activities. This special page will enable you to show your fundraising target and current fundraising total, and carry a link to an online donation page, if you have one, so that supporters can donate easily.
  • A toolkit including a personalised logo and forms to help increase the profile of your fund in your local area.
  • Copies of our printed materials (leaflets, posters, newsletters) to support your fundraising and communicate Brain Tumour Support’s activities to your supporters.
  • Goodies such as posters, balloons and collection buckets to help you with your fundraising.

Help to get the word  out about your fund

  • Emails and ideas to help you make the best use of social media.
  • Certificates and letters showing how much you’ve raised so you can keep all your supporters up-to-date.
  • Recognition and promotion through our communication channels, including Brain Tumour Support newsletters, website and social media.
  • Support to get your events and fundraising publicised, including advice on handling the media, designing adverts, flyers and social media
