We offer in-person and online groups, one‑to‑one emotional support, counselling, and welfare benefits support. Our services are open to people living anywhere in Wales.

Gav is our Support Professional for Brain Tumour Support Cymru. He works in partnership with Maggie’s at the Cardiff support group, facilitates local community support and offers one‑to‑one emotional support by telephone, text, online, and via email.

Support in Wales (Cymru)

We provide tailored support to people across the country, working closely with clinical teams in Welsh hospitals to ensure you’re not facing a brain tumour diagnosis alone.

Our services include

  • A support group in Cardiff – Regular in‑person group co-facilitated by our Support Professional, Gav Davies, Maggie’s staff and specialist nurses
  • Local get‑togethers and community support – Informal meet‑ups for patients and families
  • One-to-one emotional support – Telephone, online, text and email support when you need to talk
  • Access to our online support groups
  • Access to our specialist counselling service
  • Welfare benefits support and advice

No. You can contact us directly, or a member of your clinical team can refer you with your consent.

No. All of our support services are free to access.

Groups usually run on Zoom with a facilitator present. We will send joining details once you sign up.
