Ingredients

  • 250 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
  • 200 g caster sugar
  • 1 litre cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Sliced strawberries, mint leaves, or other fruits for flavour variation

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 250 ml of water and the caster sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar completely dissolves. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool.
  2. In a large jug, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and the remaining 1 litre of cold water.
  3. Stir in the cooled sugar syrup. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar syrup if needed.
  4. Add ice cubes to the jug and stir well.
  5. Optional: Add sliced strawberries, mint leaves, or other fruits for additional flavour. Let the lemonade chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve the homemade lemonade over ice, garnished with lemon slices or mint sprigs if desired.

Cucumber-Mint Infused Water

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • Handful of fresh mint leaves
  • 1.5 litres of water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place the cucumber slices and mint leaves into a large jug.
  2. Fill the jug with 1.5 litres of water.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight) to allow the flavours to infuse.
  4. Serve chilled over ice cubes.

Ingredients

  • Handful of mixed berries (e.g., strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • 1.5 litres of water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash the berries thoroughly and slice the strawberries if desired.
  2. Add the mixed berries to a large jug.
  3. Fill the jug with 1.5 litres of water.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavours to infuse.
  5. Serve chilled over ice cubes.

  • Slices of citrus fruits (e.g., lemon, lime, orange)
  • 1.5 litres of water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the citrus fruits.
  2. Add the citrus slices to a large jug.
  3. Fill the jug with 1.5 litres of water.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavours to infuse.
  5. Serve chilled over ice cubes.
