The entry price must be the same for all participants and must be paid before they take part in the sweepstake.

Before hosting your sweepstake, decide if the entry money will be split between the winner and the Brain Tumour Support, or if there will be a separate prize with all entry fees going to the charity. Participants must be informed before they enter, and the host cannot make a profit; funds will need to be donated.

Sweepstakes can only be organised and participated in at one location, which can include multiple buildings at the same location. This covers private societies, workplaces, and residences. If there are multiple sites, each must organise its own sweepstake.

Entries must not be sold on the street or door-to-door. Advertising is limited to the workplace, private society, or residence; details may not be sent to any other premises.

No, the sweepstake cannot be rolled over to another event.

No, the organiser cannot make any profit. Reasonable expenses can be deducted from the ticket fees, but the rest of the money must be given out in prizes or donated to the charity.

If the sweepstake is illegal, the promoter and organiser are liable. If the company approved and organised the sweepstake, it will be liable instead.
