I first heard about Brain Tumour Support in 2015 when my husband was diagnosed with a low grade tumour. Speaking to the charity helped us to navigate this part of life; going from operations, rehab to finding our ‘new normal’. In 2023, after 18 years working in the education sector in various roles, providing support to children and their families, I was ready to have a change of career. The Support Services Co-ordinator role was perfect for me.
I find inspiration every single day. Simply from speaking to people on the phone or via email or messages, and talking with people at our online or in person support groups.
