What is Cake and a Cuppa?

Welcome to Cake and a Cuppa, a tasty fundraiser that you can tailor to your liking! Whether you prefer a cosy morning coffee, an elegant afternoon tea, or a lively community bake sale, there’s a way for everyone to get involved. Host your Cake and a Cuppa event at home, at work, or at school. Gather your friends, family, or colleagues, indulge in delicious treats, and raise vital funds to support those affected by brain tumours.

Hosting your Cake and a Cuppa event is simple and fun! Here are some ideas to get you started:

• Tea or coffee morning/afternoon: Invite friends, family, or colleagues to join you for a relaxed gathering. Serve a variety of teas, coffees, and homemade or store-bought cakes.
• Virtual cake: Do you work from home, or have friends or family at a distance? Host an online event where everyone can join from their own home with their favourite cuppa and, of course, cake!
• Bake sale: Set up a bake sale in your community to raise additional funds while enjoying some homemade, tasty treats.
• Themed party: Create a themed event, such as a garden party or a cosy indoor tea party, to make it even more special.
• Donation Station: Set up a donation station at your event where guests can contribute. Provide information on how their donations will help those affected by brain tumours.
• Secondhand book sale: Encourage attendees to bring second-hand books to sell, with all proceeds going to Brain Tumour Support.
