Support Team Leader and Support Professional

I’ve been a member of the Brain Tumour Support team since March 2022. I am the Support Team Leader and Support Professional for Wales, and also act as the charity’s Safeguarding and Volunteering Officer.

I’ve worked in the third sector for the last 18 years and the majority of my career was spent in mental health and housing support services across Wales. I live just outside Pontypridd with my wife, and two sons and enjoy being outdoors in nature and walking my greyhound, Joanie.

I love sports and music and enjoy playing guitar and bass.

I enjoy working for the organisation and we have a great team. I feel the work I do makes a real difference and the organisation means so much to so many people across the UK who are facing unimaginable and complex challenges in their lives. Seeing the incredible and dedicated work of our volunteers and also being able to support people and be there for someone is rewarding and meaningful.
