Anyone can volunteer. You don't need any previous experience and there are lots of volunteer roles to choose from.

After the period of the pandemic we are getting back to many more activities! So whether you fancy representing us at functions or helping to organise fundraising events, distributing our collection tins, working in an admin role, or assisting as a support volunteer, you’ll be helping us to help others when they need it most.

Hours or days, weeks or months - whatever time you can give really will matter.

An amazing contribution

As an example of the contribution our wonderful volunteers make, in the year from March 2018 – March 2019, our wonderful volunteers saved Brain Tumour Support £37,987 based on the average salary of equivalent paid roles, such as support workers and office assistants.

On top of this we also have areas of volunteering which are harder to quantify, such as the knitters of fabulous hippo outfits, attendance at focus groups and the terrific work done by our Trustees. So all together this is a huge and vital contribution to our work as a charity.

Volunteers' Week 2022

We really couldn't do what we do without volunteers and as part of Volunteers' Week, the annual national appreciation of the contribution they make to so many charities and organisations across the UK, we celebrate them all and share some of their stories.
