Our vision and values
Brain Tumour Support is here for anyone affected by any type of brain tumour, to help them deal day to day with the impact of diagnosis and treatment.
The pioneering support work which began with the origins of the charity in 2003 and continues to develop and expand every year, is thanks to the hard work of its team and the dedication of supporters, fundraisers and volunteers - the Brain Tumour Support family.
Our values are the cornerstones for our vision, that no-one feels alone when facing the effects of a brain tumour diagnosis. They reflect what we are, who we are and how we operate to effectively deliver our mission.
This is the way we support people, as well as how we treat one another in the team and how we aim to work with integrity and in partnership with everyone that we meet along the way.
This is the heart of our work, to provide support and guidance along what can often be a difficult path. We feel passionately about the importance of being there for each other, and the value of the right information and tools to assist and help whenever it is needed.
This is who we are as people and, as our vision and mission state, we are here for as long as we are needed, so no-one feels alone when facing the effects of a brain tumour diagnosis. Our hand will always be there to hold.
This is how we aim to be at all times. The charity forms a network of expertise in support and we are committed to ensuring that our services are delivered by specialised, experienced, trained and skilled staff and volunteers.
