Brain Tumour Support is delighted to be teaming up with South West based Wards Solicitors in May to hold the charity's first ever ‘Write Your Will’ month.
Through this special initiative the newly opened Thornbury branch of Wards is raising awareness of the importance of having a correctly drawn up Will in place, and also aiming to raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Support’s work. Wards is offering the chance to engage one of their qualified Wills and Probate solicitors, who are kindly donating their time for free, to draft or update a standard Will in return for a donation to Brain Tumour Support.
Wards' Wills and Probate Partner, Rachael Thomas, who is based in the firm’s Thornbury office, said: “Brain Tumour Support’s Write Your Will month is a fantastic way to not only encourage people to make a Will, something which we believe is very important, but also to help raise money for this very worthwhile charity.”
Rachael is also running a special Zoom session with Brain Tumour Support on Monday 26th April where she will discuss common misconceptions about Wills and the benefits of having a Will that is as individual as you are.
Lindsay Crennell, Brain Tumour Support’s Partnership Fundraiser said: “We’re extremely grateful to be working with Wards Solicitors for our Write Your Will month. As a support charity we understand how the prospect of writing a Will can be daunting for many people. So it is an amazing opportunity to be able to benefit from Wards’ expertise and their friendly, individual service, as well as knowing that your donation will benefit families affected by a brain tumour.”
