Our first ever Brain Tumour Support Group in Wales will take place from 1.30pm - 3.00pm on Thursday 5th September at Maggie's in Cardiff (Velindre Cancer Centre, Velindre Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff CF14 2TQ).
As with all our Brain Tumour Support Groups, the Cardiff group is open to anyone affected by a brain tumour diagnosis, at any point in the journey. All are welcome, whether they are a patient, a family member, a friend or a carer.
Our groups are always relaxed and friendly and each one is different - they are led by one of our Brain Tumour Support Workers but shaped by the people that attend. A mixture of chat, speakers and sharing of information and experiences, there is something for everyone.
Steve and James, our Brain Tumour Support Workers for South East Wales, will be on hand to answer questions.
The group meets on the first Thursday of the month, so the next meetings are on 3rd October, 7th November and 5th December.
Dates for 2020 will be announced soon. For more information, including information leaflets in Welsh, please see the support group's page.
Brain Tumour Support works in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to provide local specialist, tailored support for anyone affected by any grade or type of brain tumour.
