Brain Tumour Support issues Coronavirus guidance

Updated: Mar 13

A UK wide campaign has been launched to provide clear advice on how to slow the spread of coronavirus. Brain Tumour Support is supporting this campaign by passing on the following link, which contains all the latest Government guidance - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

Specific advice has recently been updated for returning travellers. For the most current advice regarding affected countries, please check the following link:

The UK Chief Medical Officers have raised the risk of the public catching the virus from low to moderate, but have said that the risk to individuals remains low.

We will continue to run charity events, including support groups, as usual and we will continue to follow all NHS England guidance and Local Authority advice.

The best way to stop the spread of any virus is to promote basic hygiene practices, such as regularly washing hands and always sneezing into a tissue – the ‘Bin it, Catch it, Kill it’ campaign.

If you have any concerns please refer to the above links, which are updated on a daily basis.
