An important message from our CEO

Tina Mitchell Skinner, founder and CEO of Brain Tumour Support, is appealing for donations during this difficult time when demand for the charity's services is higher than ever but its income is plummeting.

"As a charity we support the most vulnerable and isolated people. We have been forced to temporarily suspend our support groups and face-to-face contact, yet the passion and dedication we have as a charity remains unwavering. Our Brain Tumour Support Workers are currently looking at various ways in which we can continue our support virtually.

"As a charity we need to step up the support we offer, more than ever. But my concern is that our income is going to drop by at least 50% over the coming months, yet at the same time we have seen a 51% increase in new referrals for our services. So I ask you to consider turning to our website and making a donation. Our motto is 'Together we are stronger'. I really believe that when we get through this crisis situation, our new motto can be 'Together we are STILL stronger'."
