Together\, we can help people and families affected by a brain tumour find specialist support when they need it. \n \n\nEvent details\nDate: Tuesday\, 1 December to Tuesday\, 8 December 2026\nTime: Midday to midday\nLocation: Online through Brain Tumour Support’s Big Give campaign page\nCost: Free to take part; choose what you give or raise \n\nHow does the Christmas Challenge work?\nBig Give brings together donations from the public and a limited pot of match funding. When you make an eligible donation through Brain Tumour Support’s Big Give campaign page during the campaign week\, match funds can double your gift while they remain available. \n\n£25 could become £50\n£50 could become £100\n£100 could become £200\n\nThe Big Give donation page will show whether matching is available when you give. Donations made through Brain Tumour Support’s usual donation form or another fundraising platform will not automatically be doubled. \nFundraise before the week begins\nThere’s plenty you can do in advance. Bring colleagues together for a Christmas jumper day\, host a bake sale or quiz\, or plan a festive get-together with friends. Then arrange for the money raised to be donated through Brain Tumour Support’s Big Give campaign page during the matching week. \nBefore collecting money\, please speak to our fundraising team about the best way to pay in your proceeds. If supporters donate directly to a separate JustGiving page\, those individual payments will not automatically qualify for Big Give matching. \nPlan your Big Give fundraiser\nWhy support Brain Tumour Support?\nA brain tumour diagnosis can change everyday life for a whole family. Our specialist support includes someone to talk to\, counselling\, welcoming groups and practical guidance through difficult decisions and financial worries. \nSave the dates\nThe campaign opens at midday on Tuesday\, 1 December and closes at midday on Tuesday\, 8 December 2026.
