In response to demand and with the collaboration of local Clinical Nurse Specialists, we hope it will prove a valuable, friendly source of support for anyone affected by any type of brain tumour in the Manchester area. Whether patients, family, friends or carers, all are welcome to the monthly meetings which will be held at the Northern Tennis Club, 119 Palatine Road, Manchester M20 3YA.

We're delighted to be bringing a new Brain Tumour Support Group to Manchester, with the first meeting being held next Monday 5th February.
Today marks 15 years since the death of Paul Mitchell, husband of our CEO and Founder Tina Mitchell Skinner.
Paul lost his life just 18 months after being diagnosed with a grade 4 brain tumour, and was the inspiration for founding the charity to support others in a similar position.
Yesterday Tessa Jowell spoke very openly and movingly about her own brain tumour diagnosis, and her determination to see improvement in treatments and services for the thousands of people who are similarly affected.
This afternoon she is leading a short debate in the House of Lords to highlight the need for evaluating innovative cancer treatments and raising life expectancy for cancer patients.
